“…Kyler Downs commands the stage as Masha, a star who can’t quite cope when she’s not the center of attention…” MD Theatre Guide
Professional Actor
Rebecca Kyler Downs studied Theater at Tufts University and took a Master of Music in Applied Voice at Boston Conservatory. She has worked professionally as a singer, actor and voice over actor ever since.
She has guest-starred on TV shows like CSI Miami, Robbery Homicide Division, Will And Grace, Another World and Everybody Loves Raymond. She has shot independent features in NY, Atlanta and LA, and done voices for cartoons and video games including Spider Man, Rocky Rabbit, Heretic and the entire World Of Warcraft series. Her commercials for products such as Fed-Ex, Toyota, Taco Bell, Applebees, Lexus and Verizon kept her housed and fed, and all of these projects offered opportunities to work with some wonderful actors and directors: Robert Hayes, Ed Asner, Tom Sizemore and Joe Johnston.

Professional Musician
On stage she has worked on both coasts. Her last play before leaving for LA was an Off-Broadway production of Dancing With Miracles at Olympia Dukakis' Whole Theater Co. Back on the east coast now, she just finished the role of Katherine from 33 Variations, a role for which she has been nominated Best Actress in the Washington Area Theatrical Community Honors (WATCH AWARDS)

Rebecca Kyler Downs hit the Billboard Jazz charts in 2002 with her French and English vocals in the cut Come Fly Away on Steve Reid’s smooth Jazz CD Dream ‘Scapes. During the Neo-swing revival that began in California in the 1990's she was performing with Red And The Redhots weekly at the world famous Derby in Los Angeles, Merv Griffin’s Coconut Club and Carnation Plaza at Disneyland. She has sung all over the US and parts of Europe, been featured on national television and was spotlighted with them in Vogue, with Leonardo Di Caprio (see below). As a singer and songwriter she has collaborated and performed on music for films like Wedding Crashers, Down With Love, Accepted and Monster-In-Law.
The title song of her own debut CD Love Me Like Candy has been featured in multiple film and TV shows including Roswell, Cathouse and the Oscar-nominated film The Cooler. Other cuts from her CD have been used in TV and film soundtracks including Down With Love, Something About AJ, Point Pleasant, and Joan of Arcadia.
She has been featured on CD’s with a long list of artists including Diana Krall, Tierney Sutton, Joey Fatone, Bobby Caldwell, Joey Altruda, and Red Young.

Rebecca has recorded voice-overs, movie cues, video games, and jingles. She sings in five languages.
Music Booking Agent
In early 2003 Rebecca opened a music agency in Los Angeles, creating cutting edge musical groups for weddings, private parties and corporate events. Rossi Music Inc became so successful they began to get calls to supply music and musicians to blockbuster films and hit television series like Entourage, The Wedding Crashers, Monster-In_Law, Rumor Has It, The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button, My Fair Wedding, and many more. One of the perks of having her own agency was the opportunity it gave her to mentor young musicians through internships, teaching them the industry and grooming them to become successful performers in this niche market.
